Our Mission:

Recognizing and preserving the rich heritage of the area we  celebrate the history and pioneer heritage of Norway Lake
● by replicating or restoring venerable log buildings
● by collecting and preserving historic artifacts

The Norway Lake Lutheran Historical Association (NLLHA) is a Minnesota non-profit corporation and is tax-exempt under Section 501(c)3 of the U.S. Internal Revenue code.

Syttende mai celebration

 

Komm alle nordmenn å hjelpe oss feirer Syttende mai.  All Norwegians and Norwegians for-a-day are invited to First Lutheran Church of Norway Lake to help the Norway Lake Lutheran Historical Association celebrate Syttende mai on Friday, May 17, 2013.  There will be a fine supper med veldig godt matte (with very good food) at 6:30 followed by a short programFirst Lutheran is located 7 miles SE of Sunburg or 9 miles west of New London on County Hwy 40.  Come enjoy this important day in Norwegian history.  More information is available on other web pages on this website.  EVERYONE is welcome and encouraged to attend. You should also plan to attend the Syttende mai festivities in Sunburg on Sunday May 19th.
